Terms of Service
These terms govern use of the Béton Excavation A1 website, online quote requests and related communications. If an accepted written quote or written contract conflicts with these terms, the accepted written document controls.
Last updated: June 2, 20261. Acceptance
By using the site, sending a form, calling from a site link or submitting information to A1, you accept these terms to the extent permitted by law.
If you use the site for a business, condominium syndicate, property owner or another person, you confirm that you have the authority to submit the request.
2. Site Use
The site is used to present A1 services, receive requests, display general information and facilitate communications. You must provide accurate, complete information submitted in good faith.
You must not use the site to submit illegal, misleading, abusive, malicious, excessively automated content or anything intended to disrupt site operation.
3. Quote Requests
Forms, preliminary estimates, calls and emails do not create a work contract until a written quote or written agreement has been accepted by A1 and the customer.
Prices, timelines, warranties, materials, methods and availability may change after a visit, photo review, hidden conditions, municipal requirements, weather, site access or material availability.
4. Job Site, Access and Safety
The customer is responsible for providing reasonable job-site access, disclosing known conditions that may affect the work and following safety instructions communicated by A1.
A1 may refuse, suspend or reschedule work if safety, access, soil, structure, weather or permit conditions make the work imprudent or non-compliant.
5. Pricing, Taxes and Payment
Applicable taxes, deposits, payment terms, holdbacks, extras and due dates are stated in the written quote or contract when they apply.
Additional work, scope changes, unexpected conditions or added requests may be billed separately after approval or under the written terms for the file.
6. Photos, Documents and Submitted Content
You confirm that you have the right to submit photos, documents, measurements, descriptions and other information sent to A1. You authorize A1 to use them to review the request, prepare a quote, manage the file and communicate with you.
A1 may use job-site photos for internal, training, documentation or follow-up purposes. Any identifiable public use will be limited or anonymized unless consent or another applicable authorization exists.
7. Warranties and Limits
The warranties that apply to work are those stated in the written quote or contract. Standard warranties shown on the site are general references and may vary by work type, existing condition, soil, access, materials and exclusions.
The site and its content are provided for general information. A1 does not guarantee that the site will be available without interruption or that every displayed item will be free of typographical errors or delayed updates.
8. External Services and Links
The site may contain third-party links or tools, including phone, email, maps, Google reviews, advertising, audience measurement, hosting, forms and related services.
Those third parties may apply their own terms and policies. A1 is not responsible for the content, availability or practices of an external site or service.
9. Intellectual Property
The name, logo, text, photos, layouts, tools, forms and other site elements belong to A1 or its providers unless otherwise stated.
You may view the site for personal or business needs related to a service request. Any substantial reproduction, extraction, modification or reuse without written permission is prohibited.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, A1 is not responsible for indirect damages, lost profits, lost data, interruptions, transmission errors or decisions made only from general information displayed on the site.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable Quebec law.
11. Privacy and Cookies
The collection, use and protection of personal information are described in the privacy policy. Non-essential cookies and identification, location or profiling technologies are not activated by default.
You can accept, reject or change cookie preferences through the site's consent module.
12. Governing Law and Changes
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of Quebec and Canada. Disputes connected to the site or online communications are handled by the competent courts of Quebec, unless a mandatory rule says otherwise.
A1 may update these terms to reflect its services, tools or legal requirements. The update date identifies the latest version.
